The 5th Generation MRCOOL® DIY® 18K BTU Ductless Heat Pump Single Zone Mini-Split Air Handler is a powerful and efficient solution for heating and cooling spaces up to 800 sq. ft. Designed for true do-it-yourself installation, this system eliminates the need for special tools or professional help, making setup fast, straightforward, and cost-effective.

At the heart of the system is the pre-charged 25-foot DIY® QuickConnect® line set, factory-filled with R-454B refrigerant. This innovation removes the need for vacuuming, cutting down on installation time and effort. The included DIYPRO® cable enhances durability and removes the need for electrical conduit, offering protection against the elements, pests, and yard equipment.

You’ll have multiple ways to control your comfort. Use the wireless remote, the SmartHVAC® app for iOS or Android, or hands-free voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for ultimate flexibility.

For long-term reliability, the system includes a Gold Fin® Condenser, which resists corrosion—ideal for harsh or coastal environments. The Follow Me function allows the air handler to track the remote’s location and adjust airflow accordingly, providing even, personalized comfort throughout the room. Dry Mode also helps reduce humidity and prevent moisture buildup.
