The 5th Generation MRCOOL® DIY® 36K BTU Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pump is an efficient and versatile heating and cooling solution for spaces up to 1,550 sq. ft. Designed for true do-it-yourself installation, it requires no special tools or professional help, making setup quick, straightforward, and cost-effective. A key feature of this system is the pre-charged 25-foot DIY® QuickConnect® line set, which arrives already filled with R-454B refrigerant. This eliminates the need for vacuuming, reducing both installation time and expense. The included DIYPRO® cable further simplifies setup by removing the need for electrical conduit while providing enhanced durability against outdoor elements and wildlife. You can easily control the system using the included wireless remote, the SmartHVAC app on Apple and Android devices, or voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. For enhanced comfort, the Follow Me function ensures even temperature distribution by adjusting airflow based on the remote’s location, while Dry Mode helps maintain a pleasant indoor environment by reducing excess humidity. Built for longevity, the Gold Fin® Condenser resists corrosion, making it ideal for coastal areas.
