The MRCOOL Advantage Series is not designed for DIY installation. Unlike the DIY Series, this system requires professional HVAC expertise for installation. The Advantage system lacks a mounting template for the air handler, and its line sets are not pre-vacuumed or pre-charged. An HVAC technician must vacuum the line set before opening the condenser valves to ensure proper operation and avoid air contamination.
