The FC (Force Cooling) code indicates the system has entered Force Cooling mode. This feature allows you to manually activate the system when troubleshooting or if the remote control, mini stat, or app is unavailable.
How to Use Force Cooling Mode:
- Activate: Press the Force Start button twice.
- Deactivate: Press the Force Start button again or change the unit’s mode via the remote or app.
When to Use:
- Troubleshooting: Use if the system is not responding to the remote or app.
- Manual Control: Ideal for temporary control when other settings are unavailable.
Important Notes:
- After activation, the system will run cooling for 30 minutes and automatically switch to auto mode at 76°F.
