Power Off Safely – Turn off the system at the breaker or disconnect switch before beginning work.
Access Filters – Lift the plastic cover on the front of the air handler (AH) and remove the filters.
Open Electrical Panel – Locate and open the electrical panel cover on the right side of the AH.
Disconnect Display & Sensor – Unplug the display power connection and carefully move the ambient temperature sensor (Clear tubing) so it won’t catch on the cover during removal.
Remove Lower Mounting Screw – Take out the bottom mounting screw located beneath the electrical panel.
Detach Louver – Disconnect the center of the louver and gently remove it from the AH, taking care not to bend or damage it.
Release Latch Inside Louver – Under the louver, locate the latch. Pull it upward and remove the screw inside. Note: Depending on the system size, there may be up to two additional latches/screws to remove.
Remove Left-Side Screw – Take out the mounting screw on the left side of the AH.
Unlatch Rear Clips – Release the back clips inside the AH.
Remove Cover – The cover should now be free to remove.
