How to Activate Freeze Protection (FP) Mode on Your MRCOOL Mini-Split (Remote Model RG10A4/D1-BGEFU1)

Activate Freeze Protection (FP) mode to maintain a low, stable temperature and prevent freezing in unoccupied spaces. Follow these steps to activate and control the FP mode on your MRCOOL mini-split unit using the remote control.

Steps to Activate FP Mode:

1. Switch to Heating Mode:
   Press the "MODE" button on your remote until "HEAT" appears.

2. Activate FP Mode:
   Press the Down button twice within one second. The unit will adjust to 46°F (8°C) and enter FP mode.

3. Deactivate FP Mode:
   Press any of these buttons to exit FP mode:

   • ON/OFF
   • SLEEP
   • MODE
   • FAN
   • Temperature UP or DOWN buttons.

Freeze Protection helps maintain a safe temperature while circulating air with high fan speed in colder conditions.
