GeoCool Dip-Switch Settings:
The Dallas board features a set of 4 dip-switches, which allow access to various features. These settings should only be adjusted by a trained factory technician.
- First 2 switches: Factory-set according to the unit's tonnage, matching blower CFM’s with the correct compressor size.
- 3rd switch: Allows the installer to select a slower CFM in cooling mode, slowing the fan to increase dehumidification.
- 4th switch: Reserved for future use, enabling the board to incorporate a variable speed flow center or a modulating electronic water valve.

Universal DIP Switch Settings
Your system offers flexibility in how it's controlled. You can connect either a wired controller or a thermostat, but only one at a time! Here’s how it works:
- When DIP switch SA1 is set to 0000, the wired controller takes control of the unit’s operation.
- If SA1 is not set to 0000, the thermostat becomes the primary control, and the system won’t support a centralized controller.
By default, the unit comes with a wired controller, and SA1 is preset to 0000. If you ever need to replace the thermostat, simply adjust SA1 after powering off the air conditioner to match your desired settings.
If your wired controller (with SA1: 0000) is connected to a system with different static pressure levels, you can easily adjust the fan speeds to suit your needs. Check out the available fan speeds for different static pressure levels below:
Customizing Your Static Pressure Levels
Out of the box, your unit comes with a default static pressure level of 05, but you have the flexibility to adjust it based on your needs! Here’s how you can easily customize it:
-
Enter Debug Mode: With the unit off, hold the “FUNCTION” and “TIMER” buttons together for 5 seconds. This will activate the system debugging function.
-
Adjust the Static Pressure: Now, press the “MODE” button to adjust the static pressure level, and you’ll see the wired controller display show 11. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to cycle through different static pressure levels (01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09) on the lower-right corner of the display.
-
Confirm Your Settings: Once you’ve selected the desired static pressure, press the “SWING/ENTER” button to confirm your choice.
When connected to a thermostat (with SA1 set to anything other than 0000), the DIP switch settings will determine the speed. Each DIP switch position corresponds to a different speed, and the relationships between the combinations and speeds are as follows:
NOTE:
0 means dip switch to ‘on’, 1 means dip switch equals number.
