How It Helps a MRCOOL Mini Split

Your MRCOOL system—like most HVAC equipment—contains inverter boards, control circuits, sensors, and compressors that can be sensitive to voltage fluctuations. A strong surge can damage or destroy these components, leading to:

• Possible Warranty Void (if surge damage is excluded)

• ICM493 – For 220V systems
  A solid choice for most MRCOOL mini split systems. It offers reliable protection and monitors both high and low voltage conditions. Ideal for systems wired to 208–230V.

• AG3000 – For 115V systems
  Designed specifically for HVAC applications, this protector is great for smaller 115V MRCOOL units or systems running on lower voltage.
