The Universal A-Coil is a versatile and adaptable option for your home comfort. It can be paired with other Universal units or used as a replacement for an outdated, ineffective A-coil in your current system. The Universal A-Coil offers quieter operation and quicker installation than many competitor models. It also features a liquid pipe designed to guard against excessive condensation, which could save you from costly property damage.

The unit is equipped with multiple safeguards, including protection against high-pressure, high-discharge temperature, overload, IPM, and PFC, ensuring effective and efficient operation throughout the life of the unit.

This unit is designed to be installed using either a traditional flare nut configuration for refrigerant piping or the optional MRCOOL® No-Vac® Quick Connect® R-410A Pre-Charged Line Set. If the optional No-Vac Quick Connect Line Set is used, you do not have to retain the services of a professional HVAC installer. However, if the traditional flare nut configuration is selected, you are required to retain services from a licensed HVAC professional. For electrical work, you should retain the services of a licensed electrician — please see the installation manual for full details.
