Force Start & Restart Instructions

💨 Force Start (Indoor Unit - Under Front Cover)

The Force Start button is located under the front cover of the indoor unit. Look for the button labeled with “Auto Cool” molded into the plastic above it.

Press Functions:

• 1 Press – Fan mode

• 2 Presses – Forced cooling mode (runs for 30 minutes, then automatically switches to Auto Mode with a default temperature of 76°F)

• 3 Presses – Turns the unit off

🧰 Force Restart (Multi-Zone Condenser)

A force restart on multi-zone systems can help resolve mismatches between the line set and wiring orientation.

Steps to Perform a Force Restart:

1. Remove the top panel of the condenser.

2. Take off the black box cover inside.

3. Locate the black button near the display screen—this is the force restart button.

🔌 Note: Single-zone systems do not have a force restart button.
