Designed with flexibility in mind, the 24K Air Handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal installations. Its slim profile makes it easy to install in a variety of spaces, including attics, closets, and crawlspaces.

For added convenience, it’s compatible with the MRCOOL® NO-VAC® Quick Connect® line set (sold separately), which eliminates the need for vacuuming or flaring—streamlining installation and saving time. To enhance performance during colder months, the unit also supports optional Universal® Series Heat Kits. These kits provide additional heating capacity and emergency backup heat when needed, boosting efficiency in extreme climates.

At the heart of the air handler is an M-shaped evaporator coil with a large surface area that improves airflow and maximizes heat exchange. Made from 100% aluminum, the coil is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting durability. Despite its powerful performance, the unit operates at whisper-quiet sound levels, ensuring comfort without disruption.

5th Gen R-454B No Vac Line Sets 3/8" - 3/4"

This unit is designed to be installed using either a traditional flare nut configuration of refrigerant piping or the optional MRCOOL No-Vac Quick Connect R-454B Pre-Charged Line Set. If the optional No-Vac Quick Connect Line Set is used, you do not have to retain the services of a professional HVAC installer. If the traditional flare nut configuration is selected, you are required to retain services from a licensed HVAC professional. For electrical work, you should retain the services of a licensed electrician — please see the installation manual for full details.
