The MRCOOL® Universal® Series 24K Air Handler is built to deliver powerful, reliable, and energy-efficient comfort all year long. Whether you’re facing freezing winters or scorching summers, this compact unit works to maintain your ideal indoor temperature while helping reduce overall energy consumption and lower monthly utility costs. Designed with flexibility in mind, the 24K Air Handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal installations. Its slim profile allows for installation in a variety of spaces, including attics, closets, and crawlspaces.

The unit is compatible with the MRCOOL® NO-VAC® Quick Connect® line set (sold separately) and supports optional Universal® Series Heat Kits for enhanced performance during colder months. These heat kits provide additional heating capacity and emergency backup heat when needed, improving comfort and efficiency in extreme climates.

At the heart of the air handler is an M-shaped evaporator coil with a large surface area that improves airflow and maximizes heat exchange. Constructed from 100% aluminum, the coil offers excellent corrosion resistance for long-lasting durability.
