For a streamlined and efficient installation process, the 30K Air Handler is fully compatible with the optional MRCOOL® NO-VAC® Quick Connect® line set. This pre-charged system eliminates the need for vacuuming or flaring, saving time and labor while reducing the chance of installation error. The unit is also designed to work with MRCOOL® Universal® Series Heat Kits, which enhance heating output in colder climates and provide emergency backup heating when needed.

Inside, a space-saving M-shaped evaporator coil increases the surface area for improved heat exchange and airflow. Constructed entirely from 100% aluminum, the coil is corrosion-resistant and built for long-term durability. Quiet operation ensures minimal disruption, making the unit suitable for installation near bedrooms and living spaces.

This unit is designed to be installed using either a traditional flare nut configuration of refrigerant piping or the optional MRCOOL No-Vac Quick Connect R-454B Pre-Charged Line Set. If the optional No-Vac Quick Connect Line Set is used, you do not have to retain the services of a professional HVAC installer. If the traditional flare nut configuration is selected, you are required to retain services from a licensed HVAC professional. For electrical work, you should retain the services of a licensed electrician — please see the installation manual for full details.
