We do not recommend relocating your MRCOOL system from one location to another. Moving an installed system can lead to a number of potential issues, such as:
- Damage to the system: The components of the system, including the refrigerant lines, air handler, and condenser unit, can be easily damaged during transport or reinstallation.
- Refrigerant loss or compromising: Handling the refrigerant lines improperly during a move can cause refrigerant loss, which would require a professional recharging of the system.
- Operational issues: If not reinstalled correctly, the system may not function properly, which can lead to inefficiency or even system failure.
Additionally, moving your system to a different location will void the warranty. The warranty coverage is only valid when the system is installed at the original location and handled according to our guidelines.
If you need to move your system, we highly recommend consulting a licensed HVAC professional who can assess the situation and ensure that the system is safely handled. Alternatively, if you are moving to a new home, we suggest purchasing a new system to avoid the risks and voiding your warranty.
