If you're installing your USB dongle into a MRCOOL® unit, you'll need to remove the top panel first. Here's how to do it safely:
To remove the top panel:

Locate the top panel on your MRCOOL® unit.

You'll need two flathead screwdrivers for this step.

Position the first screwdriver under the lip on the outside cover.

Gently wedge the screwdriver in to create space.

With the second screwdriver, carefully lift around the outer edge of the panel.

Work your way around the panel, lifting gradually to avoid damage.

Once loosened, remove the top panel to access the internal components.

Hey all, left a comment on the YouTube video, but these instructions are different than what is shown on the linked video. The video also obscures the angle, positioning, etc of the screwdriver. Any chance for a more detailed video?
The connections of that box and the screwdriver slot are really fragile with plastic that seems easily damaged and not readily replaced. Much different and harder to deal with than previous generations.
I'm obviously not the only one: YouTube indicates the segment for the WiFi dongle placement is the “most replayed” segment of that video.
