Before jumping into fabrication, make sure those reference dimensions are spot-on and perfectly tailored to your specific application needs!
Fabricate and secure the ductwork! Get hands-on by field-fabricating the ductwork inside the curb, ensuring that both the supply and return ducts are firmly secured to the roof curb and building structure.
Rig and place the unit! It’s time for the big move! Rig and carefully place the unit in position. (For details, refer to section 4.3 In the manual on Rigging & Lifting.)
Switch to vertical duct connections! Convert the unit for seamless vertical duct connections to ensure optimal airflow and efficiency.
Install the condensate drain piping! Ensure smooth operation by installing the condensate drain piping with precision and care.
Make electrical connections! Finally, power up the system by completing all necessary electrical connections and bring your setup to life!

Pad-Mounted Installation
Prepare the pad and supports! Lay the foundation for success by prepping the pad and securing the unit supports to ensure everything is set for a solid installation.
Rig and place the unit! Time to move the heavy equipment! Rig and carefully place the unit into position. (Check out section 4.3 for Rigging & Lifting details.)
Convert to horizontal duct connections! Switch things up by converting the unit to a horizontal duct connection, optimizing airflow for maximum performance.
Fabricate ductwork with precision! Take charge by field-fabricating the ductwork at the unit’s duct openings for a perfect fit.
Install condensate drain piping! Set up the condensate drain piping with care to ensure smooth, efficient operation without a hitch.

Rigging & Lifting
Before you dive in, keep the unit's package materials intact until installation begins! Ensure the unit remains upright at all times—no drops allowed. Get ready to lift by securely attaching chain or cable slings to the lifting holes in the base rails.
Position the unit with precision! Carefully place it on the roof curb, making sure to maintain a 1/4 inch (6.4mm) clearance between the roof curb and the base rail for that perfect fit.
Once the unit is perfectly positioned, it’s time to remove the rigging skids and package materials, making way for the next steps of your smooth and successful installation!
Safety and precision are key—let’s lift and place this unit like a pro!

Horizontal Duct and Vertical Duct Conversion

For a Horizontal Duct Conversion: Simply remove the screws from the side duct opening covers (refer to Figure 4.4 for clarity) and take off the covers—you're almost there!

For a Vertical Duct Conversion: Remove the screws from the base pan duct opening covers (check out Figure 4.5 for a quick reference) and take off the covers to make the switch!
